Terms of service

Last updated 20 October 2026

These terms apply when a business uses Trusthound, the booking, payments and care records software provided by Flavoureak UK Ltd (company number 16410737, registered in England and Wales; registered office 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF). "We" and "us" mean Flavoureak UK Ltd. "You" means the business that signs up, and the person accepting these terms on its behalf.

1. Business use only

Trusthound is a service for businesses. By signing up, you confirm that you're using it for your business, not as a consumer, and that you have authority to accept these terms for the business.

2. Your account and free trial

  • Every new account starts with a free 14-day trial. You don't need to give card details to start.
  • Before the trial ends, you can choose a plan. If you don't, your account stays available to view and export, but you won't be able to create new bookings, invoices or invites until you choose one.
  • You're responsible for keeping sign-in details secure and for everything done through your account, including by your team members.
  • You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Plans, prices and tax

  • Plans are charged monthly in advance. Prices are shown on our pricing page and at checkout, and exclude VAT, GST and sales tax, which we add where we're required to.
  • If you subscribe on our website, we bill you through Stripe. If you subscribe in the iPhone or Android app, Apple or Google bills you under their terms, and changes and refunds are handled by them.
  • Each plan includes a set number of team members. You can change plan at any time, and changes take effect as shown at the time of the change.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. The new price applies from your next billing period after the notice ends.
  • If a payment fails, we'll try again and let you know. If it still isn't paid, we may limit your account to viewing and exporting.

4. Your responsibilities

Licences and regulation

You're responsible for your own licence compliance. Trusthound includes record templates based on published licence conditions in some places, such as England and Wales, and general care records elsewhere. These are tools to help you keep records. They don't guarantee that you meet any licence condition or law, or that a licence will be granted, renewed or given a particular rating. Decisions about licences are made by the relevant authority. Check the requirements that apply to you.

Tax

You're responsible for your own tax. Trusthound suggests a tax name and rate based on your country, but you must check and set the correct rates, decide whether your prices include tax, issue invoices that meet your local rules, and account for and pay any tax due. We don't give tax advice.

Using Trusthound properly

You agree not to use Trusthound to break the law, to send spam, to upload harmful code, to try to access other businesses' data, or to interfere with the service. You're responsible for the content you and your team add, including photos and messages to clients.

5. Taking payments from your clients

Card and bank debit payments from your clients are processed by Stripe through a Stripe account in your name, under Stripe's own agreement with you. Stripe's fees apply. We're not a party to payments between you and your clients, and we don't hold your money. Disputes, refunds and chargebacks are between you, your client and Stripe.

6. Your clients' data

For personal data about your clients and their dogs, you're the controller and we're your processor. Our data processing terms, which we'll send on request to woof@trusthoundapp.com, form part of these terms and set out how we handle that data. You're responsible for having a lawful basis to use your clients' data in Trusthound and for telling them how you use it, for example in your own privacy notice. Our privacy policy explains the data we handle as controller.

7. AI-drafted content

Some features suggest content drafted by AI, such as notes for owner updates. Drafts can be wrong. You must check every draft before sending it, and you're responsible for what you send.

8. Your data

You own the data you put into Trusthound. You give us permission to host, copy and process it only to provide and support the service. You can export your data at any time while your account is open, and for 30 days after it closes. After that we'll delete it, except where we must keep it by law, in line with our privacy policy.

9. Our service

  • We'll provide Trusthound with reasonable skill and care, and work to keep it available and secure. We may need to take it offline for maintenance, and we'll try to give notice where we can.
  • We improve Trusthound over time and may change or remove features. If we remove something significant that you rely on, we'll tell you in advance.
  • Trusthound and its software, design and content belong to us or our licensors. These terms don't transfer any of those rights to you.

10. Liability

  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't legally be limited.
  • Neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill.
  • Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for Trusthound in that period.
  • Trusthound doesn't replace your own judgement about the care of the animals you look after.

11. Ending your account

  • You can cancel at any time in your account settings. You'll keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or don't pay, after giving you notice where it's reasonable to do so.
  • Sections that by their nature should continue after the account ends will continue, including those about data, liability and the law that applies.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of changes that materially affect you, unless a change is required by law sooner. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at woof@trusthoundapp.com so we can try to put it right.
